Dolby Atmos is a popular surround sound format, a competitor to DTS: X, and can be found in everything from large commercial films to small home films. The “immersive” way is also being used as a new way to get Ariana Grande songs, like the Beatles, on cell phones and speakers. The biggest change from the previous design is the addition of asphalt channels, but Atmos sounds work with five traditional speakers and a subwoofer () or as many speakers (or a few) as you can.
