In the near future, the film follows Teresa (Brbara Colen), who comes home to Papers, a city in Brazil’s semi-archaic opera, to attend her grandmother’s funeral. Upon arrival, Teresa immediately sees signs that the Bacppers are in a serious crisis. Basic facilities are limited, the coverage of the mobile phone fades, the clean water supply is damaged and the truck that takes drinking water is full of bullet holes. It soon becomes clear that the corrupt government has left the city completely: not only has paper literally been wiped off the map, but also an attack on its citizens. When the responsible official closes, the villagers must prepare an organized resistance to prevent further damage.
